NTPC was conferred as a winner at the FICCI CSR Awards in the "Women Empowerment" category for its flagship CSR Project - Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM). Shri C Kumar, ED (HR) received this award from Ms Rajashree Birla, Chairperson, FICCI CSR Centre of Excellence in a ceremony at New Delhi on 6th August. Shri V Jayanarayanan, CGM (HR/CSR/R&R/LA), also remained present.
