The NDE, Imaging & Life Management Laboratory at NETRA is a key enabler of safe, reliable, and long-term operation of thermal power plant assets, integrating conventional Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) with advanced diagnostic and imaging technologies to assess component health, support residual life assessment, and enable informed run–repair–replace decisions for critical equipment. The laboratory provides wide inspection coverage with high reliability and rapid turnaround, playing a pivotal role in enhancing plant safety, availability, and longevity. It is recognized by the Central Boiler Board (CBB) for Residual Life Assessment of Boilers and holds NABL accreditation for multiple NDT methods, reflecting its technical excellence and quality assurance.
